Oscar Garcia Moncada is our in-house, resident Chef/Sommelier. Oscar holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Wesleyan University, CT. After graduating from Wesleyan, Oscar worked in the non-profit sector while simultaneously attending the prestigious Institute of Culinary Education, where he graduated with high honors. Oscar holds a WSET Level 3 Certificate with Distinction and plans to obtain the highly coveted WSET Diploma (DipWSET) in the near future. Oscar’s wine selections have won various gold and silver medal awards from wine-searcher.com, and he has been featured in publications such as the NYT, WSJ, Saveur Magazine, Sevenfifty.com, Wine Enthusiast, and others. Oscar is also the creator of 67Wine Somm Series, 67Wine Petit Somm Series, and 67Wine Somm Series Cava. Oscar has collaborated with Champagne producers Pierre Paillard and Vincent Couche, and iconic Spirits brands such as Maker's Mark, Old Forester, Angel's Envy, Herradura Tequila and more.
