Warm Goat Cheese Salad with Sauvignon Blanc

My wife rolled a disk of goat cheese in panko bread crumbs, then lightly sauteed it in a little olive oil. She served it over a green salad with balsamic vinaigrette and a few dried cranberries.

A grassy Sauvignon Blanc proved that the traditional wisdom shouldn't be discarded just because it's traditional - Sauvignon Blanc and goat cheese are a perfect match.
