Sweet Maple Spareribs


The robust sweet ripe fruit flavors of Zin match the fruity sweet smoky character of the ribs and won’t be overpowered by the rich tomato flavor. 1 pound of pork spareribs ˝ cup ketchup 1 cup syrup ˝ tsp garlic salt ˝ tsp black pepper 1 tsp hot sauce 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce 1 tsp balsamic vinegar Mix all ingredients in a bowl or shallow pan. Marinate ribs 1-2 hours. Preheat oven to 450F, place ribs in shallow pan with marinade and cover with aluminum foil tightly. Cook 15 minutes, then decrease temperature to 350F and cook 1 & ˝ hours. Serve with sauce.
