The plump apple, melon and pear flavors are lightly lined with judicious toast, leading to a creamy, friendly finish. Drink now. 43,000 cases imported.-JM

(made in stainless steel and a bit of used French oak): Medium yellow. Fruit-driven aromas of peach, pineapple and honey. Supple, broad, dry and easygoing; very ripe and creamy but not a butterbomb. Still, this could use more definition and grip.

The 2013 Chardonnay has a pleasant, slightly buttery but well-defined bouquet with apple blossom and pear. The palate is clean and fresh with a touch of spice and an appealing citrus-fresh finish. Fine.
