Steve Tanzer, International Wine Cellars 90 Points: "Bright gold. Expressive, slightly exotic aromas of peach skin, yellow plum, orange zest, fresh apricot and smoke, plus a whiff of dusty minerals. Then tactile, chewy and rich in the mouth, with bitter pit fruit and pear skin, ginger and orange rind flavors. An impressively complex dry wine that manages to be powerful without conveying any excess weight. Finishes with subtle nuances of salty minerality and smoke.
