(UltimateBeverage Collection, Finalist) Opens with bright pear and green apple notes with a touch of honey and white flower. On the palate it is dry with orchard fruits accompanied by a brisk acidity and a fine mousse. The finish is dry with Granny Smith apple.

This wine shows lots of finesse for the price. The mousse is exceptionally refined, carrying complex flavors of limes, strawberries, brioche, vanilla and honey. The blend is mostly Pinot Noir, with about 9% Chardonnay.

Lively and fun to drink, with creamy Asian pear and citrus aromas that lead to crisp, easygoing apple, yeasty cinnamon and mineral flavors. Drink now through 2012. 103,000 cases made. –TF
