Winemaker’s Notes:
The 2014 vintage in Bordeaux is “potentially the best since 2010” according to Wine Spectator’s James Molesworth, who noted that the dry whites “look excellent”. The season began warm and dry but let to a cloudy and humid July and August. Near perfect conditions arrived in the hot and dry September, which allowed the grapes to ripen fully while maintaining acidity. The resulting wines are complex and long, with food-friendly acidity.
