|2009: 89 Points - Antonio Galloni, Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2009 Syrah Central Coast is a fresh, vibrant wine. An expressive bouquet melds into layers of dark red fruit. The feminine, delicate side of Syrah comes through in this understated, poised wine. This is a striking wine considering it accounts for approximately half of the estateís total production in 2009. Anticipated maturity: 2012-2017. "
2009: 88 (+?) Points - Steve Tanzer, International Wine Cellars: "Bright ruby. Tightly wound, focused aromas of red- and blackcurrant and licorice, with a hint of black olive. Firm, slightly ungiving dark fruit flavors are lifted by tangy acidity and gain sweetness with air. Good material here but this is a tough read right now. Finishes brisk and with good grip repeating the olive note."
2009: 88 Points - Steve Heimoff, Wine Enthusiast: "A bistro style wine to drink with grilled meats and game birds. Itís juicy and crisp, with flavors of cherries, licorice and spices, wrapped into a creamy texture. Really rocks."
