A blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Carmenere, Syrah and Merlot. Primus The Blend has ripe red and black berry fruit flavors with exotic spice. A full-bodied wine with a lingering finish.
The grapes are hand-picked, double sorted, fermented and left on the skins after fermentation to extract deep color and rich flavors. The best lots of the vintage are selected, married to blend harmoniously and aged in French oak for a minimum of 12 months.
Primus The Blend was one of the first meritage blends produced in Chile by Agustin Huneeus who has also produced top California blends such as Franciscan Magnificat, Estancia Meritage and Quintessa.
