Aveleda Vinho Verde 2010

Vinho Verde is the world’s largest demarcated wine region, covering some 7,000 square kilometers in the Minho, Douro and Beira Litoral provinces. It has a strong geographic, climatic and cultural identity, explaining why Vinho Verde is regarded as Portugal’s most original wine. Wet, fertile, granitic and with mild temperatures influenced by Atlantic winds, the region seems to be painted with all the greens in the palette.

Aveleda is presented in a very special way, in a slender bottle with a label that takes us back in time. It is produced in our winery with grapes from the Vinho Verde Region - the most extensive in Portugal. The careful temperature control during the winemaking process produces a wine that is slightly citrine in color, clear and bright. Its gentle and fruity aroma gives it a smooth, delicate flavour.
