|2009: 92 Points - Steve Heimoff, Wine Enthusiast: "Shows Pride’s house style, a wildly bold, mountain-concentrated wine that couldn’t possibly be fruitier or riper. Intense flavors of blackberries, blueberries and cedar are wrapped into complex but gentle tannins, making the wine drinkable now. But it should develop over the next 6–8 years. "
2009: 91 (+?) Points - Steve Tanzer, International Wine Cellars: " Bright, medium ruby-red. Aromatic nose combines blueberry, blackberry, tar, espresso and mint. High-toned and intense in the mouth, with the minty blueberry character and harmonious acidity giving the wine an enticing juicy quality. Finishes with firm but fine tannins and the structure to age well. I'd hold this for at least two or three years before pulling the cork."
