The inky/ruby/purple-hued 2004 Cabernet Sauvignon Brookman Vineyard exhibits classic aromas of cassis and graphite along with a well-balanced, rich, full-bodied, intense personality. One of the estate?s more forward, elegant offerings, it is best drunk during its first 12-15 years of life.

Firm, with juicy raspberry and red cherry flavors at the core. Shows a range of cedar and dusky spice overtones that add depth and class. Best from 2008 through 2016. Score: 90. —Harvey Steiman, October 15, 2006.

Shows tons of beautiful red and black berries on the nose, which carry over to the palate in the form of juicy, perfectly ripe flavors tinged with just a hint of graham cracker. Acidity is lively; can be enjoyed now through 2011. Score: 91. —Daryna Tobey, October 01, 2006.
