Waters Interlude 2009

Sku: 022330

Waters Winery was founded in 2005 by Jason Huntley and winemakers Jamie Brown and Greg Harrington. They released their first wines in 2006 and a year later opened a 5,000 square foot sustainable winery. Their winemaking is influenced by a preference for old world style wines that emphasize the terroir of Walla Walla Valley, where they own several vineyards. Their range of wines includes small lots of Cabernet Sauvignon, single vineyard Syrah, Interlude a Bordeaux style blend, Viognier and Rose.

2009: 91 Points - Harvey Steiman, Wine Spectator: "Bursting with juicy blackberry and plum fruit, this has a lively feel, with modulated tannins and floral character on the finish. Appealing for its balance. Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc. Drink now through 2015."
