| 2007: 94 Points - Robert Parker, Wine Advocate: "The outstanding 2007 Chateauneuf du Pape (a blend of 80% Grenache, 10% Mourvedre, 7% Syrah, and 3% Cinsault that achieved 16.5% natural alcohol) exhibits a dark ruby/purple color in addition to a sumptuous bouquet of black fruits, scorched earth, lavender, truffles, and licorice. The wine reveals the vintage's gorgeous freshness and vibrancy as well as sensational concentration, and a tremendous finish. It can be drunk young or cellared for 15+ years."
2007: 93Points - Josh Raynolds, Steve Tanzer's International Wine Cellars: "Sexy, expressive scents of black raspberry, star anise, lavender and smoky minerals. Lively red and dark berry flavors are given a refreshingly bitter edge by a note of cherry skin, turning deeper and spicier with air. The finish is broad, sappy and impressively powerful, leaving sweet red and dark berry compote notes behind. This is drinking surprisingly well for such a young wine but it also has the depth to repay patience."

It is solid in nature – herbs and baked plains are evoked. The red fruits on the palate come with a sunny bounce – the style is open and friendly, the juice abundant. This is real tasty drinking – really beau – the fruit is fragrant. It ends consecutively, en rondeur, with some tannins there. Bonny drinking to come – w.o.w. wine. From summer 2010 – enjoy! 2020-22"
