Tasting notes
Enticing aromas that are strikingly similar to Viognier, with hints of peach pit, flowers, and orange citrus fruit. On the palate, it has mouthwatering acidity that keeps you coming back for another sip and plenty of body for a wine that shows such delicate aromas and flavors. Fruity, floral and yet still quite dry, this wine has to be tasted to be believed. Best enjoyed in its youth either by itself, or as a wonderful partner with smoked meats, mild to medium-strong cheeses, and seafood. Keep one in the fridge at all times!

Rating
2011: 90 Points - Steve Tanzer, International Wine Cellars: "Pale yellow. Sexy, slightly exotic aromas of wild herbs, flowers, licorice, mint and spices. Juicy, saline and dry, with a subtly tactile mouth feel to the flavors of lemon verbena, lavender and botanical herbs. There's an enticing dusty impression of soil here but plenty of sweet citrus fruits too. Savory and serious but there's nothing austere about it. An outstanding example of Argentina's distinctive torrontes, which makes a perfect aperitif. "

2011: 90 Points - Jay Miller, Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2011 Torrontes offers up enticing aromas of peach, melon, floral, and tropical fruit. Medium-bodied, dry, savory, and nicely proportioned, this lengthy effort will deliver plenty of enjoyment over the next 1-2 years. "
