| 2008: 91 Points - Roger Voss, Wine Enthusiast: "Full bodied and rich, this has a juicy core followed by firm, minerally tannins and intense acidity. Wood aging adds complexity to this impressive, ageworthy effort. "
2008: 89 Points - Mark Squires, Wine Advocate: "The 2008 RESERVA “QUINTA DA GARRIDA” is a Tinta Roriz and Touriga Nacional blend. This bottling is often a fine value from the winery, usually aging pretty well and seeming like a fine value most of the time once the oak integrates a bit. I liked this about as much as the ’07. It is lovely and fresh, bright and able to linger persistently on the finish. Suffused with flavor, it does show some oak, but that will get better. It has some backbone, although it is well balanced and integrated. Drink now-2017. " |
