Foradori Teroldego 2012

Foradori Teroldego 2012

Sku: 025433

Antonio Galloni, 90 Points:
2011 vintage/ The 2011 Foradori (Teroldego) is drop-dead gorgeous. Silky, layered and polished, the 2011 impresses for its raciness and textured, inviting personality. This indigenous red grape can veer towards the gamy side of things, but Foradori's Teroldego is all about purity of fruit laced with floral and spice notes throughout. This is a fabulous vintage for the Teroldego. Drinking window: 2014 - 2018

Wine maker notes
Campo Rotaliano is a well-demarcated geographical area, a sort of recess of the Adige Valley tucked between the mountains.

Its history and origin are closely attached to the Noce River, which, over the centuries, has deposited huge quantities of limestone, granite and porphyry debris. This small plain, depending on the soil composition, distinguishes itself for its various microzones bearing various names given by the local vintners.

The blending of the different wines of these microzones, with their various features, gives our “Foradori” wine.
