Review
Colome Estate Malbec is a blend of 85% Malbec, 8% Tannat, 3% Cabernet Sauvignon and the rest Petit Verdot and Syrah. With an intense dark color and layered aromas of cherries, blackberries, white pepper and violets. Similar flavors follow, with concentration and texture, well integrated oak nuances come from aging 18 months in French oak barrels. The tannins are round an elegant creating a superb experience for Malbec lovers.

Deep purple hue with aromas of blackberries, currants and violets. Its body is supple and satiny, with the fruit backed with cinnamon and subtly gripping tannins. Refined and elegant expression of Malbec.
 Wine Spectator 91 points (Aug 22 2012)
This suave, racy red delivers game, crushed cherry and wild berry notes backed by fine tannins and bright acidity. Compact, yet creamy and well-balanced, with a long, savory finish. Drink now through 2018.—N.W.
