The Bordeaux vineyards of south western France lend their grand heritage to Nectar D'or through Glenmorangie's use of Sauternes wine barriques to 'finish' The Original single malt whisky. Infused with the signature honey, citrus and spice aroma of the Sauternes dessert wine that lingers in the wooden casks, the result is a whisky of exquisite sophistication and complexity. The resultant elixir takes on the pale, lemony, gold transparency and honeyed taste that inspired it's name.

This is a wonderful single malt scotch! I keep searching for the perfect scotch, this is about as good as I have found. The reason I did not give it five stars is because the search is not over!
