The passion for winemaking has been handed down for generations at the Giuratrabocchetti family estate. Gerardo Giuratrabocchetti is the driving force at Cantina del Notaio, whose aim is to respect local plant life, the surrounding environment, and the natural intrinsic vitality of the soil. The vineyards are certified organic by ICEA, and Gerardo is working his soils biodynamically awaiting certification in the near future.

The 2005 Repertorio is 100% Aglianico del Vulture from the mineral rich volcanic slopes of Mount Vulture that provides the ideal habitat for deeply intense ruby reds. Whereas some Aglianicos can be ferociously intense in their youth, the 2005 Repertorio is soft, well balanced, and pleasantly rich, with generous flavors of ripe red fruits. Medium bodied and food friendly, try it with grilled organic summer vegetables or organic chicken.
