Well balanced, with spice, pepper, and a rich mouthfeel. Wonderful, very pretty. Bigger than the 2008 but still quite elegant.

The 2008 Juliette Avril Chateauneuf-du-Pape is a very pretty, very elegant wine. It has nice fruit, not jammy, and not overly dense. It is very well balanced. The Juliette Avril Chateauneuf is very tasty and drinking well young.

2007 Vintage - John Livingstone-Learmonth, DrinkRhone: "Full red, purple touches; has a plum jam aroma that is very, very primary – just the one aroma for now. The palate`s red fruits have what I term a three-quarter depth, flow easily, even if a little reserved for now. This can certainly sing around 2010 onwards. It is a baby wine now. The length is sound, and reveals mild late tannin."
