Tasting notes

This 100% Sauvignon Blanc Touraine has been aged on itslees, in stainless steel tanks to bring richness to the wine. A very refreshing dry white wine, very fragrant, with grapefruit aromas, and a nice and subtle minerality.

Wine maker notes

The Davault family has been producing wine for six generations. Christophe took over the family business in 2004. Domaine de la Chaise is composed of 57 hectares (140 acres) of vines located on the hillsides of Saint Georges sur Cher. The vines grow tuffeau-rich soils, they rarely suffer from excess water stress and benefit from dry, free-draining soils.
