A blend of Cabernet and Syrah from Washington State. The wine is produced by Charlies Bieler (just voted one of the top 10 wine professional by Food & Wine) and Charles Smith. These guys are characters and their wines speak to it. Look for a excellent dose of powerful Washington Syrah fruit surrounded by the balanced tannin and sweet aromas of Washington Cabernet fruit. A delicious red blend for everyday enjoyment.

Review

Deep, dark purple with a strawberry red outer ring. Thenose is plum, black currant, dark chocolate and lilacs. A plush, velvety smooth mouthfeel, the flavors of the wine coat your mouth. The dark fruit and chocolate of the Cabernet Sauvignon dominates the taste upfront, while the blueberry of the Syrah comes through on the mid-palate. A reasonably long chocolate covered blueberry finish.
