| Vinous 92 points (Jan 2015)
(8 g/l dosage): Light yellow. Mineral-tinged peach, melon and pear aromas display excellent clarity, picking up a subtle floral quality with aeration. Supple and seamless on the palate, offering vivid honeydew and pit fruit flavors accented by a vibrant lemon zest quality. Finishes very long, silky and precise, with an echo of juicy melon and strong mineral lift. -- Josh Raynolds
Wine Spectator 91 points (Dec 31 1994)
Subtle and mellow, with an intriguing nutty aroma. It has mature flavors that are dominated by toasty, buttery components. Very harmonious from beginning to end, with a long finish. Perfect as an apéritif with its luscious pear flavors. –

With its highly mineral aroma, this is almost like smelling chalk. It’s an austere wine, with high acidity, crystal clear on the palate, full of grapefruit flavors and flint texture. Age this wine at least 4 years. — R.V.
