 Wine Spectator 91 points (Jun 15 2014)
A bright, crisp white, with savory hints to the laserlike flavors of Fuji apple, Meyer lemon and melon. Long and richly spiced midpalate, presenting hints of ginger and kiwifruit on the finish. Drink now through 2019. 5,416 cases made. -KM Wine Spectator 2014 Top 100 #99

Technical notes
100% Gruner Veltliner. Grapes sourced from old vine growth around Langenlois and nearby Zöbing, Gobels-burg, Schiltern and Mollands. Planted mainly in loess (80%) with the rest (20%) in weathered gneiss soils. Hand harvested and sorted. Brief maceration, fining, and fermented in steel tanks at 19-21 degrees celsuis. Racked and aged on remaining lees for 1-2 months.

Food pairing
Makes a wonderful aperitif and goes well with light starters like salads, cold meats, cheeses and vegetables.
