All Coturri wines are made from organically grown grapes that have never been treated with pesticides, fungicides or herbicides. No sulfites are used at anytime during the winemaking process. Only wild, natural yeast living on the skins of the grapes are used in the fermentation. No cultured yeasts, no use of concentrates to boost sweetness, no filtering or fining, no added water or acids or other manipulations are employed. Simply natural wines as nature intended.
With all of that said, this is not your typical Rosé. Deep translucent pink in color with a red berry bouquet that carries through the palate. Moderately sweet, there is a distinct earthy quality that distinguishes the natural winemaking, and makes way for immense sipping pleasures. Great with a spicy barbecue on a hot summer night.
