From the beginning in 1633 until today, 67% Pinot Noir has been the basis of Louis de Sacy's classic blend. Completed with 30% Chardonnay and 3% Pinot Meunier, Cuvée 67% is a major element of their range as it reveals the original character of the Louis de Sacy production.

Tasting notes

Alan Sacy is a the 13th generation of Sacys at Champagne Louis de Sacy since it was founded in 1633. This Champagne is flavorful, richly textured and crisply dry.

This is intense and vinous, with apple and cheese notes initially giving way to bread dough and mineral flavors. It’s dry, with fine grip and balance, ending with a long, honey and mineral aftertaste. Drink now through 2008. 13,000 cases made. –BS

Wine maker notes

The Brut Tradition lets easily discover its subtle aroma coming form the prolonged aging of its blend drawn from selected old vines, Chardonnay 24%, Pinot Noir 70%, Pinot Meunier 6%. A well structured Champagne without agressiveness and a long finish allowing all expressions of the ”terroir”. This very fine Champagne can be aged for years.

Reminds me so much of Billecarte-Salmon Brut, which sells for a lot more. Great berry and brioche flavors. Paul Bressler 67 Wine
