Bodegas Cepa 21 presents its new wine, HITO, thus complementing the winery’s range. HITO is a dynamic wine, modern, along the lines that the winery set-up at its creation and with the release of its signature wine, Cepa 21. HITO breaks the mold in the development of young wines. If Emilio Moro was innovative in its day with its 6 month oak-aged young wine, now, HITO has an even longer ageing, of 8 months in oak, that brings more subtlety and elegance.

2010: 90 Points - Josh Raynolds, Steve Tanzer's International Wine Cellars: "Bright ruby. Pungent aromas of cherry, dark berries, licorice and mocha, with a subtle note of cracked pepper in the background. Juicy, penetrating bitter cherry and cassis flavors unfold to show a richer plummy character. Closes smoky and long, with gentle tannins and lingering spiciness."
