Bramare Appellation Wines are a blend of fruit from vineyards within the Lujan de Cuyo appellation. Concentration, structure and drinkability are the spirit of these wines.

Review

Incredibly dense, inky and almost black in the glass, this wine has Malbec written all over it. But where Paul Hobbs’ Malbec excels over many others is in the ‘finesse’ department.
Make no mistake, this is a huge, high alcohol Malbec, but subtleties manage to come through even with relatively little time in the bottle. Give this one 2-3 more years and it’s going to be an absolute blockbuster.

Paul Hobbs has been producing highly acclaimed California wines since the early 90’s and after much success in The States, he added Argentina to his portfolio in 1999. Since then Vina Cobos Malbec and Cabernet have earned huge scores at comparatively fantastic values.
