| Casale della Ioria is a family-run estate located some 400 meters above sea level in Acuto, a small hilltop town near the town of Frosinone, around 30 miles south-east of Rome. This area is known as Ciociaria, and although no defined political borders exist its hills boast a long tradition of grape and olive growing, and in particular the local red variety Cesanese. For over twenty years, Casale della Ioria owner Paolo Perinelli has overseen every aspect of the process, from vineyard management and the sorting of fruit to the vinification and packaging of his wines. |
