Tasting notes
It's a sparkling wine with intense fruit, yet fresh andwell developed. While the flavor is exuberant, the wine is balanced in acidity supported by good smoothness and a light body and mind.

Wine maker notes
The name "Rust" or in Modenese dialect "ruzninteina" comes from the fact that at the peak of ripeness, the grapes take on a brown color which makes them look rusty. It's a vine nearly extinct: the only one hectare of vineyard site is completely designed to rust to Rubbiara thanks to the foresight of Italo Pedroni.

Food pairing
Ideal with stuffed pasta like ravioli filled with ricotta cheese and not too spicy.
