2009: 90 Points - Steve Tanzer, International Wine Cellars: "Pale bright yellow. Sexy aromas of orange and pineapple complicated by clove, nutmeg and minerals. Then round, dense and almost honeyed on the palate, with a touch of sweetness leavened by dusty minerality. Chewy, concentrated, very ripe sauvignon with a long finish given lift by a refreshing hint of bitterness."

2009: 89 Points - Lisa Perrotti-Brown, Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Mt. Beautiful's 2009 Sauvignon Blanc gives pronounced capsicum, grass and hemp aromas with supporting notes of passion fruit, kiwi and straw. Concentrated, dry, full bodied, juicy and crisp, it has a very long finish. Drink it now while it's this vibrant."
