2009 "Beautiful dark red colour with powerful structure and and great aromatic subtlety. Bright acidity and forest fruits on the palate with rich, round and fleshy tannins. A terrific value from Saint Estèphe where, because of the status of nearby crus classés (Cos d'Estournel & Montrose) prices have tended to soar."

Located in the heart of the Médoc vineyard, this estate reveals all the authenticity of a family inheritance over three generations. The plots are located to the south of Saint-Estèphe. Harvesting is conducted mechanically with sorting table and the wine processing is quite traditional with soaking between the next 25 and 30 days according to the years, then ageing takes place in new oak casks. A field as well as a technical man, Jean-Marc skilfully combines his many talents whose one and only goal is his passion for great wines as well as the desire to promote his soil.

Food pairing

Roast rib of beef if the wine is young. For mature vintages, truffle sauces and game dishes.
