Jean-François Meynard owns this beautiful estate right on top of the St Magne buttress overlooking the Dordogne river to the South. The soil is clay on limestone, the classic soil of the ridge of Castillon and St Emilion. The blend is 75% Merlot, 15% Cabernet-Sauvignon, and 5% Malbec The style of this wine is very much in the St Emilion mode: quite rich and very round, with extremely ripe tannins.
