Tasting notes

Crystal clear and brilliant golden green colour, with silvery grey highlights. On the nose, spicy notes, with flint and citrus fruit aromas. On the palate, a supple attack with very thirst-quenching lemony notes. A beautiful minerality which is expressed by iodized and "saline" flavours. Wine in sharpness with a warm and delicious finish.

2010: 88-89 Points - Steve Tanzer, International Wine Cellars: "Ripe aromas of stone fruits, spices and white flowers, with a suggestion of oyster shell. A very ripe and tactile village wine energized by oyster shell minerality. Ultimately quite dry and vibrant, but also built to give early pleasure."

Points - Antonio Galloni, Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2010 Chablis Domaine Sainte Claire (from vines in Prehy) shows lovely focus and cut in its citrus, lemon, grapefruit and white fruits. It is an excellent entry-level wine with plenty of vintage character. Anticipated maturity: 2012-2018."
