Grapes are manually harvested from the "Blue Cape”, hilly vineyards with perfectly white limestone above the bay of Marseilles. This region locally known as the Côte Bleue benefits from a warm Mediterranean climate.

Hailed as the winemaking wizard of the Rhône, Jean-Luc Colombo has achieved a high-profile international reputation for making innovative wines that are original, memorable and bursting with personality. Despite a resolute aversion to change in the Cornas region, Colombo has brazenly introduced innovative methods in his vineyards and throughout the production process based on a respect for nature and his fundamental belief that good wine is the culmination of three key elements: terroir, human endeavor and modern winemaking techniques. Colombo has turned the vineyards of the blue cape near Marseille for the inspiration behind his latest winemaking venture.

This rosé is subtle, round and full of finesse. Surprisingly complex, with intriguing notes of raspberries, fresh cherry, black olive and fennel.
A great rosé to enjoy on its own or with a wide range of appetizers, fish, poultry dishes and vegetarian fare. A perfect wine to share with friends.
40% Syrah; 40% Mourvèdre; 20% Counoise.
12% abv.

Wine maker notes

Grapes are handpicked and fermented for two weeks in temperature-controlled stainless steel vats. The wine is then matured on its lees and bottled in the spring after harvest.
