|The grapes are grown on rich, fossilised soils and the vines are on average 30 years old. They suffer from/enjoy all of the strict laws of the appellation contrôlée system, meaning that they get little water other than from what falls from the sky, so they’ve drawn all of those fabulous nutrients from the soil to bear the complex fruit that make this flinty, gooseberry and mineral packed, crisp, dry white. Like the vast majority of our wines, this is the product of the vineyard, not the winery. It’s a terrific expression of a Côtes de Gascogne Sauvignon and a superb example of a great French Sauv. It exemplifies what we’re all about – quality way above its price tag and a distinctive, delicious drop. We love it, and we’re sure you will too!
