Bodegas Deumayén was established in 2007, in the Province of Mendoza, Argentina, by three successful entrepreneurs and friends sharing a common wish to develop wines which demonstrate the best of Argentine land and talent. Roberto Timms of British descent, Jorge Ramirez with a Spanish background and Esteban Zombory from a Hungarian family, agree in their belief that wine making comes hand in hand with “great determination”. This is why they have named the winery ‘Deumayen’ which means exactly that in the indigenous language of the Mapuche people, from South America.
