Carmel Cabernet Sauvignon Kayoumi Vineyard 2003

An extraordinary wine, the 2003 Carmel Kayoumi Cabernet Sauvignon is aging gracefully.  With luscious flavors and soft tannins, it is saturated with black currant, berry and spicy wood.  Fermented for one year in stainless steel and then aged for 17 months in new and one year old French oak barrels, hints of smoked meat, Oriental spices and tobacco are present.  Drink now-2014.
