| 2010: 89 Points - Bruce Sanderson, Wine Spectator: "Smooth and opulent for Chianti, exhibiting black currant, violet and licorice flavors. Bright and balanced, with a long finish of fruit and mineral. Best from 2014 through 2021. "
2010: 88 Points - Antonio Galloni, Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2010 Chianti Classico emerges from the glass with big, generous fruit supported by the firm tannins of the vintage. Black cherries, plums, smoke and licorice wrap around the plush finish. This is a fairly large-scaled style for the year. There is more than enough depth in the fruit to make me think the 2010 will drink nicely for a number of years. Anticipated maturity: 2013-2020. " |
