The 2009 Chassagne-Montrachet Les Vergers is round, rich and harmonious. The warm vintage has filled out some of the more compact contours present in the 2010. This shows lovely balance in an open, fleshy style best suited to near-term drinking. Today the sweetness of the oak is a bit pronounced. Anticipated maturity: 2012+.

This broad white features a core of lemon, apple and pineapple flavors, surrounded by loads of vanilla, clove, nutmeg and cardamom notes. This is balanced, in an opulent, oversized way, with butterscotch accents on the finish. Best from 2013 through 2021.óB.S.
