Isabel Ferrando purchased this old Châteauneuf domaine from the Serre family in 2002. The property has very old vines, mostly grenache, some of which are over 100 years old. Isabel practices organic farming, crop-thinning to ensure low yields, aging in demi-muids and small oak barrels, and bottling without filtration.
The basic Chateauneuf du Pape is made up of 80% grenache, 10% cinsault, 5% syrah, and 5% mourvèdre. The wine is aged in concrete and 3 year-old demi-muids for 15 months.
