Haraszthy Zinfandel Amador County 2009

Haraszthy Zinfandel Amador County 2009

Sku: 055160

Tasting notes
Luscious and round on the palate with rich, deep fruit flavors. This wine offers aromas of raspberry, vanilla, nutmeg and white pepper and exhibits a nice balance of jammy, bright, cherry and raspberry flavors. Offers a beautiful bouquet and lingering finish.

Wine maker notes
Our 2009 vintage was grown in Amador County’s renowned Shenandoah Valley. Zinfandel grapes were sourced from the Scott Harvey (46%) and Spinetta Vineyards (47%). We opted to blend with Mouvedre (7%) from the Chipatchi Vineyard to add depth, roundness and complexity. The wine delivers a generous accessible style for which Amador County Zinfandel has become admired. Oak aged 14 months—80% French and 20% American. (Alcohol 15.6%)

Food pairing
The Amador County Zin complements any grilled meat, hearty pasta, planked salmon, or roasted chicken.
