The 2010 Chassagne-Montrachet Les Caillerets is the most overt and exuberant of these wines from Vincent and Sophie Morey. Juicy apricots, nectarine, orange blossom, spices and butter are all woven together nicely. Because of the small yields, in 2010 the Caillerets saw a little more new oak than normal (50%), but the oak has been integrated quite nicely. Flashy, super-ripe notes reappear on the finish. Anticipated maturity: 2012+.

Marked by oak, the butterscotch and spice elements figure strongly in this white, along with apple and citrus flavors. Offers a creamy texture, with a long, expansive finish. Drink now through 2020.óB.S.
