Farella-Park Vineyards Merlot 2009

Farella Park Merlot 2009 Tom Farella expects the new Coombsville, Napa AVA to become synonymous with Merlot. He is a grower, selling of 90% of his grapes to wineries (like Merryvale and Hunnicutt). The reserved 10% make up his estate wines. The grapes for this wine come from three low yielding (1.5 tons per acre) vineyard blocks of clay rich soil, situated along the Coombsville Divide, straddling the Sarco and Tulocay drainages out of Coombsville that head westward towards the Napa River.
