FRENZY Sauvignon Blanc is sourced from selected vineyards located on New Zealand’s South Island, including the famous Marlborough region, which is ideally suited to this varietal. The soil is composed of volcanic Greywacke stones and alluvial river silt.
The 2013 growing season in New Zealand was perfect for grapes, with an extended summer/fall drought bringing warm, sunny days but cool, clear nights, which locked up flavors and allowed the grapes to retain good acidity. Harvest took place in April 2013.
The wine was fermented in temperature-controlled stainless-steel tanks with selected aromatic yeast strains, and bottled young to retain the lively fruit flavors of the Sauvignon Blanc grape.
