Casa Gran del Siurana Cherry red in colour. Intense and fresh floral aromas, with a mint touch. In the mouth it is fruity, round, complex. A fine structured wine, well balanced and elegant. Wine Advocate The 2010 GR-174 (tasted from a barrel sample), is made up of 35% Garnacha, 25% Carinena, and 40% Cabernet Sauvignon.It saw 50% of the wine aged for 9 months in French oak (essentially the same composition and elevage for all of the GR series). It is a spicy, promising red with a smooth texture and plenty of savory red and black fruits at a very fair price. It will be drinkable upon release and provide enjoyment for another 4-5 years.
