The Brassfield wines stand out for their exceptional value. The 2011 Pinot Noir is about as good a Pinot as readers will find for the money. Expressive and layered, the 2011 stands out for its balance and symmetry. Nothing is out of place in this delineated, feminine Pinot Noir. Sweet red berries, crushed flowers and spices inform the juicy, vibrant finish. Anticipated maturity: 2013-2016.
