This delivers a winey core of crushed currant, melted black licorice, plum sauce and roasted vanilla flavors, all woven together with solid grip on the full-bodied finish. Drink now through 2015. 4,580 cases made.-JM

Ruby-red. High-toned, liqueur-like aromas of blueberry and coffee. Fat, sweet and easygoing, with an almost syrupy quality to the raspberry and blackberry fruit. This open-knit, easygoing fruit bomb offers immediate appeal. Finishes with sweet, harmonious tannins. I’d consume this over the next seven or eight years.
