Nose:broad and complex, with flowery notes of wild roses, acacia blossom, tropical fruit and apricot;

Palate: fruity, elegant and full-bodied, with a good follow-though on the back palate and attractively balanced acidity. Soft, lingering finish, with notes of tropical fruit.

2010: 90 Points - Antonio Galloni, Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2010 Pinot Grigio shows off a clean, focused personaltiy in its jasmine and white stone fruits. There is plenty of energy and precision in the glass, but in an understated style that is quite appealing. This precise, articulate Pinot Grigio is best enjoyed over the next 1-2 years."

2010: 88 Points - Steve Tanzer, International Wine Cellars: "Bright, medium-deep yellow. Aromas and flavors of buttercup, apple and pear. Straightforward and juicy, but could use a bit more complexity and weight. Finishes with decent length."

2010: 88 Points - Alison Napjus, Wine Spectator: "An aromatic Pinot Grigio, with hints of apple blossom, honey and cardamom accenting the flavors of tangerine, quince and stone. It's light-bodied and focused, with pleasant tangy acidity keeping it bright and lively throughout. "

Ageing: After fermentation, the wine was left on the lees in the stainless steel containers for six months. Bottling took place in March 2004. The bottled wine was aged in temperature-controlled binning cellars for a minimum of two months.
